How a consultation works
What happens from the moment you book to the moment you sit down with a lawyer.
The fee
A consultation fee is payable in person, before your consultation begins. No payment is taken through this website.
From booking to your appointment
Booking reserves a time with a particular lawyer. No payment is taken through this website at any stage.

Choose a lawyer and a time
Select the lawyer you wish to see, then pick from the times they have free over the next 30 days. Consultations are 30 minutes.

Give your details
Your name and a telephone number are required so the office can reach you. An email address and a short note about your matter are optional.

Confirm the booking
You will see a confirmation with the date, time and lawyer, and a private link you can use later to change or cancel the appointment.

Attend at the office
Come to No. 17, Temple Road, Negombo at the time booked.

Pay the consultation fee in person
The fee is payable at the office, before the consultation begins. It is not taken online.
Changing or cancelling
The confirmation gives you a private link to your booking. From it you can move the appointment to another free time, or cancel it, without telephoning the office.
Keep that link to yourself — anyone who has it can change the appointment.
Confidentiality of what you send
The short note about your matter is optional, and deliberately so: the less you need to put in a web form, the better. Anything you do enter is visible only to the chambers' own staff once they have signed in, and is not shown anywhere on this website.
Please do not send documents or sensitive detail through this website. Bring them to your consultation instead.
